Our History

The Creative Arts Council of Wells County’s roots stretch back to 1973, when a group of passionate local townspeople came together with a simple yet profound vision: to bring classical music to the community. Their desire to share the beauty and power of music sparked the creation of what would eventually grow into Creative Arts. What started as a small initiative quickly blossomed into a vibrant arts council that would serve not only music enthusiasts but artists of all kinds. Over the years, the organization expanded its offerings, gradually adding more programs and services to nurture the creative talents of individuals in Wells County and beyond.

Today, Creative Arts continues to honor the vision of those founding members, who laid the groundwork for the arts community that exists today. Through the years, their unwavering support and foresight have helped shape Creative Arts into the dynamic and multifaceted organization it is now.
